Garlic cream sauce with chicken!
Been wanting to make something like this forever now!
You’ll need:
Marinade 4-5 chicken drumsticks with lime salt and ginger garlic
1 whole garlic finely chopped
1 large onion roughly chopped
about 250 gms spinach
1 bunch chives
4 large red chillies
Cornish clotted cream and parmesan per January resolution measure 😂
Sear the chicken in a frying pan and set aside once it has a nice brown colour. Add the onion and garlic to the pan. Add the cream and keep stirring till it gets to a saucy consistency. Mine curdled a bit but then I kept it stirring to save it! So, keep it between a low and medium flame as the cream will curdle up on a high heat. Give it a taste and add the chicken once the sauce is creamy and has a nice strong garlic flavour in it. Once all these good things have infused nicely into the cream sauce, add the chicken and simmer it for about 20 mins. Add the spinach leaves and wait till they wilt down. Parmesan and fresh chilies go in next and give it a stir. Garnish with the chives and toast some bread to go with it.
